Birthright citizenship has held — the Supreme Court confirmed it on 30 June 2026. On 6 August, however, an executive order against birth tourism was signed, and we no longer organise trips to the US for the purpose of giving birth. We do what is legal and what is genuinely needed: if you are already on US soil, we support you there, and after the birth we handle the child’s documents.
The 6 August order concerns birth trips and those who sell them. It does not prohibit neither give birth, nor be in the country, nor process documents. That is why we draw an honest line between the two.
What we don’t do. We do not organise birth trips to the US or prepare a visa specifically for birth tourism. SVOY Baby offers none of this — at any price.
How we can help if you’re already there. We connect you with the local community — expat chats in the US where locals can advise on neighbourhoods, doctors and daily life. After the baby is born we handle the full document set: state birth certificate, SSN, US passport, apostille, home-country documents and the consular section — $1,500 for everything.
Here is the first piece of good news: birthright citizenship is still intact. On 30 June 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court voted 6–3 to strike down the attempt to abolish it. The Fourteenth Amendment held — a child born on U.S. soil is a U.S. citizen regardless of the parents’ immigration status.
The second piece of bad news. On August 6, 2026, two new executive orders were signed; the second instructs the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security to end birth tourism — entry on a temporary visa with the primary purpose of giving birth. The order allows visas to be revoked, lifetime entry bans to be imposed, and take action against companies that sell such trips. The order has not yet taken effect: agencies have been given thirty days to establish procedures. Add to this a 2020 rule that the industry tends to stay quiet about: a consular officer is required to deny a B1/B2 visa if they determine that giving birth is the primary purpose of the trip.
So we kept it simple. SVOY Baby no longer organizes birth trips to the United States. We do what is legal, necessary and here to stay — processing documents for children already born in the US. For families who specifically want to travel for the birth, we honestly present the countries where that is legal and where parents can obtain status: Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. We work in Miami, Los Angeles and New York — cities where SVOY has active chats and an established expat community.
One price for the complete package — no surprises, no add-ons. Government fees are paid directly to the relevant authority and are not included in the fee — we list them as a total and provide receipts.
| What is included | Duration |
|---|---|
| State birth certificate | 2–6 weeks |
| SSN for a child | 2–6 weeks |
| US passport for a child | 4–8 weeks |
| Apostille on a certificate | 1–3 weeks |
| Russian documents and the consular part | by consulate appointment |
| SVOY Baby fee — the full package | 1 500 $ |
The USA is no longer in the calculator — we do not organise trips there. Calculate the budget for countries where birth tourism is legal and where parents can obtain residency status: everything is honest and complete — support, clinic, fees, accommodation, flights and life on the ground.
The executive order of 6 August 2026 directs authorities to end birth tourism and explicitly authorises action against companies selling such trips: visa cancellation, lifetime entry bans. We have exited this business and will not pretend nothing has changed.
Under a 2020 rule, a consular officer must deny a B1/B2 visa if they determine that giving birth is the primary purpose of the trip. Concealing a pregnancy is not an option — misrepresentation at the border is riskier than a visa denial. Since 2026, a Visa Integrity Fee of $250 has been added on top of the $185 application fee, for each family member.
Having a child in the US gives parents neither a visa nor a green card: the child can only sponsor family members from age 21. The flip side of that passport: a US citizen must declare worldwide income for life, wherever they live. If you need status now, look at Brazil.
